“X-tina” falls into pretty much the same catagory, IMHO. She’s pretty enough, has a good voice, and probably could have been something lasting and special.
Instead she, or her managers, chose the trashy road to skankdom.

What are you looking at, that she’s EVERYWHERE? I can’t even conjure up an image of her face. I don’t know what any of her songs are. I’ve heard of her, but that’s it.
You need to expand your horizons. Watch TV other than MTV and VH1, read non-entertainment magazines. Have you heard of books? How about DVDs? You can rent them now, you know.
CSPAN? The History Channel? I haven’t come across her on those channels.
I like the beautiful video. I love the concept behind that song. I don’t like to see her in her skanky clothes, either, and will flip the channel whenever the Dirty video comes on. However, she is her own person and we can’t really tell her how to dress. How would you like it if somone came along and told you that your clothes suck, you’re ugly, and you’re a skanky whore?
You know, when I first read this thread, I disagreed with it completely. But today, I was in the supermarket with a friend and we were looking through the magazines at the checkout counter. I guess I hadn’t seen Christina in a while. She used to be really cute (like in the “Genie in a Bottle” video). Now, she looks gross.
Why does she look like she really needs a shower? What happened to her hair? It looks like ass. Why does it look like she greased herself up with lard?
