Christmas Gift Exchange 2009

Hey

Sorry! Me and D would like to be included, if it isn’t too late!

We don’t care about getting (we’ve ALREADY been given so much!), but we’d like to GIVE a hand-painted winter scene by my sweet D.

Thanks

Q

I’m in!

I’m an artsy-fartsy jewelry slut. I like off-beat contemporary stuff.

I also love cat-themed things. I collect itty bitty kitty figurines, but any kitty items would be welcome.

Local stuff is wonderful, too! Whatever! Surprise me!

I am in. I will email you in momento.

I want a used copy of Mosby’s Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference. But barring that - if there is not a used copy available that is cheap, I like nurse-y things. Because I am a nursing student and it consumes the parts of my life that are not immersed in my sons. Even a happy nurse day card would be great.

I’m in!

I’m a 29 YO female who likes earrings, purple blue and green, horses, books, Christmas ornaments, coffee, candy, funny stuff, Tshirt size medium, and clean/crisp/herbal scents (but I’m not into perfume/body spray).

I’d like to join too!

female, 54 YO, no allergies, likes crafts, cooking, reading, geeky stuff, science

Dang, not a lot of enthusiasm this year. Seems like we usually have twice this many people. :frowning:

I’m in!

I hate coffee and am allergic to cats. Other than that, anything goes!

What should I do? Promise nudity and booze??

OK, you’ve talked me into it, even though I am risking letting my real name get out! :frowning:

I am female, and – let’s go with “38” years old. I’d like something local from where you live, even if it is a kitchy fridge magnet, or I should say, especially if it is a kitchy fridge magnet.

I am allergic to thiomersol and nickel.

THAT’S IT!!! I think I’ve pm’ed or emailed all of you. If you’re on the Christmas exchange list, and you haven’t heard from me, PLEASE let me know! I was kind of doing this while teaching periodic tables, vocabulary lists, and Robert Frost’s poetry…so…hopefully it all went to where it should.

Crap - I missed it! Well, if anyone drops out and you need a substition, let me know

female, 30s, I love purple, my only caveat is that I’m allergic to wheat and gluten.

[**schnuckiputzi: ** Two roads diverged in a yellowed wood and sorry I could not oxidize both . . .]

Thanks for the poetry! Anything strange is my kind of stuff. And, btw, someone is wanting to send you a little something, melodyharmonius, so email me your addy and join in the fun!

My package is mailed! It has a long way to go so I hope it makes it in time!

I’m mailing mine today. I put “SDMB” above my return address, so my Santee doesn’t freak out about getting a package from someone they don’t know in Philly.

You can open the box when you get it – the actual contents are gift-wrapped, if you want to put them under the tree.

Ho ho ho, y’all!

My package was sent today, it’s going cross country. Hope my recipeint likes what they receive.

My package is going out this weekend. Hope you like it, secret santa person!

Sent mine this morning. It has a very long way to go though so I can’t say for certain that it will be there before Christmas. I hope it will be.

In any case, it’s not wrapped in paper but it’s not loose in the box either. If it comes in time and my giftee has a mantle, it can be hung by the chimney with care.

Crap that’s what I forgot to put ‘SDMB’ on the package…if you receive a brownpaperpackage (not tied with string) from the UK then go ahead and open it without worries
