As a side question if he is nominated for an Oscar will it be as a supporting actor or the primary actor?

Hey, his favorite Tarantino film is also Jackie Brown.

Added note, the link to the Eli Roth interview in that one was quite good as well. I really liked both interviews. Brought a whole new light to his Bear Jew character, knowing there were some scenes that sounded like they’d have been great but ended up being cut.

I think it would be supporting actor. In many ways, of course, he’s as much or more of a primary actor in this film as anybody else.
