Cinnamon Imp (previously known as Hermette) married her long time partner in Glasgow earlier today. She didn’t exactly elope, but she managed to keep it very quiet from even close friends and family.
And, the best part is, she will still be a Cinnamon Imp, as her surname remains the same even if she had been inclined to change it. Of course, she will not again be a Hermette.
Pictures are lovely with the groom in Scottish regalia and the bride suitably attired as well.
I feel a link to the ongoing online dating thread is probably in order as well - if it wasn’t for them and their suggestions, I might never have found him lurking on OKCupid
Thank you! I shall try and upload pics tomorrow. The bride wore black, which no doubt has already miffed my new MiL. My SiL only found out about the wedding on facebook, oops…
He does have an account here as Real Omega Man, but doesn’t post often. I don’t think he even lurks much nowadays - just relies on me for the edited highlights
Thanks to everyone who’s posted congratulations too - and to the minirants thread who helped me pick a dress back in Feburary. As you can see, I wore neither of the ones discussed and went for a more black-tie look
