Cinnamon Imp- It's A Baby Girl

Cinnamon Imp and her partner happily announce the arrival of a baby girl (8 pounds 11 oz for those who want to know these things).

Mother, father and baby are all doing well. Congratulations to all, and a sister for their other young lady.
(Cinnamon Imp has asked me to start this thread).

8 pounds 11. Wow, she’s almost full grown. Congrats on the little one.

Yay! Welcome newest Doper

Congrats Cinnamon Imp!

That’s how big I was! I never looked back hehe

Congratulations to the Imp family

Good news. Congrats to the family and I know Cinnamon Imp is glad to have it over.

Congratulations to the family!

(Still, EIGHT and a half pounds, plus? On one hand, I hope C-section wasn’t necessary; on the other, I hope Cinnamon Imp isn’t too sore…)

The important question is did she get her Halloween baby??

Wow. I was just talking to her in a thread. She must have broken off the conversation to go into labor. Congrats on the addition of another little Glaswegian, Cinnamon Imp!

Yeah! Congratulations to you Cinnamon Imp and your family.

Thanks for letting us know Cicero.

Great news! Congratulations!

Awww, congrats to Cinnamon Imp and family on the new Impette!

Congratulations to Cinnamon Imp and her family

Congratulations! Such wonderful news!

Yes, after the size of the baby she would have known she was alive. She is still doing well and is now home.

I guess also looking forward to a pint at some stage after her abstinence.

Thank you all! No, I didnt get my Halloween baby, but she arrived right on due date, All Saints day (also mother in laws birthday) so she’s forgiven.

I’ll return to this thread to reply to the other posts soon, but I need two hands for the laptop, and currently baby wants both of them, so ttfn

11/1/15 - nice! Hooray - Fresh baby!

I’d also like to thank **Cicero **publicly for being the best Doper friend a girl could have - not only did he start this thread and post baby’s first teddy all the way to Scotland from Australia, he send me a care package when **RealOmegaMan **and I moved into this house last year, and we still have a spare room with your name on it for next time you and your lady wife visit the UK

Thank you!

Yup, never again

Nearly 9lbs

It was deemed necessary, but as the doc went off to book the theatre (baby’s heart rate was slower than she liked, and mine was dropping too), the midwife challenged me to push the baby out before she got back. What can I say, I like a challenge

Cassandra Alice Tabitha Surname[1] came out the traditional exit headfirst, then promptly got stuck causing a little bit of drama, but I didn’t require any stitches, so not too sore thank you!

[1] Not my real surname

I was very very bored during 5 days of attempted induction of labour in hospital. thank you for keeping me entertained

Sadly I came out of hospital with a raging chest infection, and I’m now on antibiotics and still unable to drink. :frowning:

And unable to cough without peeing but that’s the joys of childbirth on one’s pelvic floor…

Congratulations from the other end of the M8!

Many congratulations!
