Sort of like his picture book that I’m sure he is collecting money for on pre-orders. He’s now saying that the publisher can’t get ink or paper.
uh huh.

Five years ago, he stole a couple letters from POTUS – now he is just TU.
One thing I’ll give trump credit for: he’s not offering to pay their legal fees. I mean, that’s one of his favorite bullshit promises, but people would might actually notice him not doing it this time. In fact, as we know, he’s currently using donor money for his own legal fees.
“I’ll pardon you!” is years in the future so safely on the other side of the bullshit rainbow (every shade of brown…)
Two weeks. It’s always two weeks. (I bet it never shows up; critics will eviscerate it)
He can’t be reelected. He said that Pence should have overturned the election. That gives Kamala Harris carte blanche to decide in favor of the Democrat.
I saw the clip of the rally where Individual 1 said that he would give pardons to the insurrectionists, and, surprisingly, considering that the rally was full of pro-Individual 1 people, the response to his pardon offer was rather muted.
But that privilege is reserved for white men with an R after their name. Ms Harris is none of those.
They aren’t all too stupid to realize that he had two whole weeks to pardon the 1/6 insurrectionists and didn’t.
I wouldn’t take that bet with stolen money.
They’re not interested in pardons they wouldn’t personally need.
Most of them are too personally lazy to do much but vote (and even then I would hazard many of them didn’t) and we already know they lack empathy for other people, so why should they give a damn what happens to any insurrectionist stupid enough to get caught?
He could have pardoned them all before he left office and didn’t.
Which I’m still kind of amazed about.
No matter what they do, I doubt he’ll do anything for these chucklefucks unless they pony up at least 7 figures.
But why not? It wouldn’t cost him anything but the time to sign a form, and what does he care if a few thousand chucklefucks go free?

Time is money, especially to him. That’s the way he’s always been. Unless there’s a material benefit to himself, he doesn’t see the point in doing it.
The way it works is he gets some kind of payment or benefit first. And maybe the other party gets something out of it. If he feels like it. And it’s not too much trouble that day. And he doesn’t have a round of golf to get to. Giving anything away for virtually nothing is what a sucker would do. The concept of ‘win-win’ is foreign to him. If they’re getting a pardon, they’re the winner, which makes him the loser in the transaction. That’s how his brain works. If they’re clearly the winner, he must automatically be the loser because no transaction can be mutually beneficial.
I can’t see him going to the trouble of literally lifting a pen for them without getting something substantial for his troubles. And based on his behavior over nearly 8 decades, I can’t see him putting any value on their mere gratitude. Not unless they’re worth some real money and he can work an angle to get at that.
Also at the time the right wing spin machine hadn’t quite figured out what to do about the insurrection. Now they have settled down on the narrative that it was no big deal and the insurrectionists were just much maligned patriots arrested for peacefully speaking truth to power. But in the weeks immediately following Jan 6th Memories were fresh and everyone was in shock, Republicans were trying to distance themselves from the events and blaming it on Antifa. If Trump had stepped in and started issuing pardons it would have looked very bad.

Plus, his impeachment proceedings started just a week after the insurrection.
It occurred to me that Individual 1 suggesting that he might grant pardons to the insurrectionists means that he disagrees with the claims that the insurrectionists were antifa.
And it’s not too much trouble that day. And he doesn’t have a round of golf to get to.
Perhaps Trump was in the bathroom for ‘Executive Time’.
I didn’t realize that Individual 1 threw the race card when he made sure that the attendees at his rally knew that the prosecutors going against him are all black.
Like a washed-up party performer, the former president returned to his old bag of tricks in targeting Black investigators looking into him and his family.
He also made some comments about being restored to “that beautiful white house”, but I can’t find the quote.

If he decides to run, Trump may have to battle other prospective Republican contenders, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“And in 2024, we are going to take back that beautiful, beautiful house that happens to be white, that is so magnificent, and that we all love. We are going to take back the White House,” Trump said during his speech.
As I recall, when he moved in he said the place wasn’t that great. He really wanted to move everything to his tower.
he said the place wasn’t that great.
‘A real dump,’ he called it.
