'Cleaning' Internet Explorer

Is there a way to do this? My version of IE has a number of places (including some of the SDMB fora) that are always ‘just visited,’ even if I clear all the cookies from my computer. Likewise, there are so many ‘remembered’ screen names and passwords that it’s become annoying. Can I get rid of those somehow?

I can’t remember if it has the option to clear out passwords, but I use CCleaner with good results. I don’t currently have it installed on this computer, but on my others, so I can’t check.

My OP is probably much less clear that it could be because I don’t know technical terms. I don’t think Spyware is the problem (we do have AdAware and run it constantly), it’s just a regular feature of Explorer as far as I know.

I forgot to add in my first post…

Did you try clearing the user names and passwords in the IE settings already?

Tools/Internet Options/Content/AutoComplete/Clear Forms and Clear Passwords

Looks like that did it. Thanks!
