I am a novice “beer snob” . Every now and again some friends and I will get together and share a dozen or so singles. Some of these beers are ones that none of us have tried before. If one beer is way hoppy it can over power the next. What is the best way to cleanse your palate between beers?
I used to date a beer-loving guy who swore by the use of plain crackers with unsalted tops in between beers.

In general, start with the lightest beer and work your way to the darkest. Use bread or unsalted crackers taken with a bit of room temperature water to cleanse your palate.
I agree with Homebrew, but if you know a beer is going to be insanely hoppy save it for last. Or better yet try doing “theme nights” where you try different beers within a general style?
