I’ll be at Pacers by 6:00 on Sat. night. I’m staying until they close, at 12:00, unless everyone deserts me. 
I am gonna leave the party around 8:00 to go pick up vanilla and son from their trick or treat party and bring them back with me to Pacers. Shouldn’t take that long.

I have to pick my daughter up from work at 6, so I’ll be there by 7 or so. Since I am coming straight from work my costume will be “exhausted retail worker” but my daughter did buy me some Halloween temporary tattoos, so I might get wild and crazy.

Whoa!! Is it too late for me to sign up for this? My car broke down on the way to Michigan last night, so I’m back in OH* and we’re down to one car, but if I can convince DH to head up there for the evening in his car, we might be able to make it. We can’t stay late since he has to work in the morning as a manager, but I’d love to meet up with everyone.

of course, there was a 4 yr old and 11 yr old which skewed the results. :o

Sorry I didn’t get to talk to you much, you being all the way at the other end of the table.
It was a first dopefest for me, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. It would have been nice to meet more Dopers, I hope more show up next time.
Glad I got a chance to meet you all. I’ve never been to a dopefest before, so this was kind of a first for me.
And thank you all for being so kind/tolerant of the GrizzCub. Mom and new baby were at home and I thought it would be really unfair for me to leave him at home while I went out ‘galavanting’.
And, BMalion… if you’re reading this, I’m sorry I missed you. Drop me an email and maybe I can catch up to you for lunch during the workweek.
I’m thinking summertime would be good for another CleveDope (OhioDope?). Maybe in a park. Grill up some burgers and dogs. That sort of thing.

Hey, here’s the pictures. It was a fun evening with great conversation. Thanks to elmwood for taking most of the pictures for me! Next time I will drag ** Lillith Fair** along…she spent the evening reading the Dope when she could have been meeting it!

Most enjoyable evening I’ve had in a while. I’m impressed with the intelligence of the posters who showed up. Damn smart bunch.
