"Clicking Bad" web game where you make and sell crystal meth

http://clickingbad.nullism.com/

No graphics, no sounds, just clicking buttons on a web page. Yet somehow it’s as addictive as meth to me. (I assume, I’ve never been addicted to meth)

I’ve bought 4 “Meth Stars”, “a man made super lab! With tractor beams”!

I saw this a long time ago, linked from one of the Cookie Clicker threads. It never, well, clicked for me, probably because Cookie Clicker already had, and I’m not interested in playing two games of that sort.

I wasn’t aware of Cookie Clicker so I tried it, although I’m still playing it it’s clear Clicking Bad is a slightly more complicated game. You have to buy not just supply but also distribution, and you also have to buy protections against the DEA and IRS.

Cookie Clicker is prettier, though.

Hey Revtim,

I logged in - a rarity for me - because of your comments.

Last Friday night, I started ClickingBad because of this thread. I am already basically finished with actual playtime less than two days. All that is left is for me to play long enough to get the last couple of achievements which are playing time related (play for a week, play for a month.)

I quit Cookie Clicker many years ago. In my opinion, Cookie Clicker is much more complicated. You might not have played long enough yet to see things like the Grandmapocalypse, Heaven related stuff, Milk, Golden Cookies, the-cheating-that-is-not-cheating-it-is required-to-get-everything, what I call the galaxy exploration…

Yeah in Clicking Bad, there are three things to balance, but being out of balance doesn’t actually hurt you except for getting the DEA and IRS involved. One of those is easy enough to manage in buying items that reduce risk, the other by favoring laundering over manufacturing and distribution.

lol this sounds like an old game that’s not around anymore called pimpwars…

I agree, Zelski. Cookie Clicker has a fair amount of ancillary content once you get for enough along.

And then there’s Trimps, which is another level of complication. And don’t get me started on Sandcastle Builder.

Thanks Zelski, sounds like I have stuff to look forward to from CookieClicker.
