Yeah she is, but there is plenty of other artists of all kind as crazy as she is. But the Trump supporters claiming that Democrats are Satanists based on an invitation to dinner of Clintons campaign managers brother? They’re crazier than she is.
I was making a rhetorical exaggeration, to counter the laughable idea that Syrian refugees represent any kind of serious threat to the person quoted in the article.
Russia Forging Documents re: Clinton.
From Reuters, 4:30pm yesterday
It’ll be getting dark really early starting tomorrow?
Seriously, I always do a pundit show/news moratorium for a full year after Presidential elections. I watch election night, then I watch the inauguration if it’s a Dem, that’s it.
But now I normally go to bed around 8:00pm ET. I might stay up until 9:00 to see if they’ve called NC or NH or FL. If not, I don’t care, lights out by 9:00, wake up about 3:00am and see what happened.
Sam Wang is your anti-depressant. He is saying Clinton has it locked. (He will also eat a bug if he’s wrong.)
I respectfully disagree with this part. Look at all the damage George W Bush did to the US and everyone else, and then remember that for all his flaws and cognitive limitations, he actually did seem to want to do the right thing. Having a thin skinned, fatuous bigot with anger control issues at the helm of the world’s largest economy and mightiest war machine could result in some pretty damned serious damage.
The teasers on MSN’s website, which have for some time been variations on “Trump Closing the Gap” / “Trump and Clinton Tied” / “Clinton Holding On by a Thread” &c &c, now show “Poll: Clinton Leads Trump by 5 Points.” While I doubt that the polls themselves have changed all that much, the media seem to be coming to the conclusion that it’s time to put the “horse race” scenario to bed for this cycle.
Not that it’s a done deal, Sam Wang notwithstanding. While I’m reasonably confident, I’ll be (figuratively) holding my breath till Tuesday night.
I would gladly eat a bowl of bugs to guarantee that he’s right.
I can’t recall any candidate needing so much help as Hillary. Obama and Biden are working their butts off trying to sell her to voters. Now she’s got Jay Z, Beyonce doing concerts for her.
No one can stand her. It’s unbelievable the Republicans blew this chance to grab the White House. All they needed was a decent candidate. Instead we got Trump and he has done everything wrong that he could possibly do. Nevertheless he’s got a shot at beating her.
I’ll be so thankful when this fiasco is over. My wife and I already voted early. We are having a nice dinner and a movie Tues night. Get out of the house and avoid any election coverage. We’ll check the news Wed and see who won.
You oughta get together with Marina Abramović. You can get paid for this stuff you know!
Truly unprecedented.
You have a decent point there.
My view is Trump will try pretty hard to do far more damage than GHWB ever managed. But since he’s a goof with a short attention span he’ll fail.
The rest of the system will pretty well shut him off. And the more outrageous the thing he tries to do, the quicker he’ll be clamped off. So the actual damage, as opposed to the outraged noises in the press, will be more limited than what GHWB “accomplished”. Entirely because GHWB had the entire system working for him, while Trump will have most of it working against him.
That’s admittedly calling on an awful lot of upper level bureaucrats and Congress and the SCOTUS to mostly step up to defend the Republic rather than their jobs. But I have a bunch of faith that will happen if push should come to shove.
Far better for all of us if the citizens pass their basic test of citizenship and not elect a psycho.
But IMO all is not lost if the citizens fail. This time.
I’ll eat a bug if one of you does not sneak a peak at your phone to see who won Tues night.
I’m declaring right now that I’m not eating a bug.
This is sublime logic.
She has so many people speaking in her favor, it’s proof that no one likes her. The multitude of people singing her praises are only doing so because she desperately needs help. On the other hand, pretty much no one in power on the right sings Trump’s praises because he obviously doesn’t need the help, I reckon.
This is obviously why Trump has no support from the previous living GOP presidents. Supporting him would be a sign that he requires support.
I declare that I’ll eat a bug if jsgoddess eats a bug.
I’m not aware of hardly anyone campaigning for Trump. The RNC distanced themselves from him months ago. It’s pretty much Trump and Pence carrying the message.
It’s got to be embarrassing that the DNC still has to work so hard to sell Hillary to America. They got nearly all the newspapers endorsing her, celebrities, and the man himself Obama. Desperately trying to get a win.
I’ve watched every election since Nixon and never seen two unpopular candidates as this.
I would like pics of one of you eating a bug.
Did we ever set up any, er, friendly “contests” for Clinton supporters versus Trump supporters? Clinton wins and Trump supporters eat bugs sounds pretty good. Hypothetically.
What a loser, everyone supports her! Donald’s a real winner, nobody wants to be associated with him!
