Ivanka was deluding herself to make public statements about her dad being a big supporter of women. It was true that Donald had some women in positions of power in the Trump organization so she could focus on that and overlook some of the sleazier stuff. Now she can’t overlook the sleazy stuff. Video of her dad talking like a sex predator on every news channel has burst her bubble.

I just saw a Trump ad with a bunch of supporters saying that Hillary said that they were deplorable. I’m a veteran, I’m a mom, I’m etc etc etc how dare she call me deplorable!
She said that about half of his supporters were deplorable BECAUSE they are:

Yes the Trump story is video and about sex (at least, sexual abuse arguably). Right there it handily beats out written transcripts (though I don’t believe there’s been any claim by Clinton they are false) about two faced positions on policy. And on the policies I doubt many voters are choosing Clinton because they really think she’s a Bernie-ite/Trumpist protectionist. Similar to nobody really basing their support for Trump on his supposed latter day conversion to anti-abortion.
The goal of open borders in the hemisphere could be significant IMO if it got more attention. The accusation that the immigration issue is entirely animated by ‘racism’ and ‘xenophobia’ is based on the assumption the Democrats actually want border security and limits on immigration, and the Republicans are just making it up when they say the Democrats are for open borders. But here she is saying it. In fairness as ‘eventual goal’, but a much larger portion of the electorate than ‘deplorables’ does not want open borders now or necessarily ever. However it’s pretty well buried as a story.
This plus I wonder how the prenup stands up when this level of public revelation is added to the mix. It would not surprise me at all if she’s talking to lawyers. I think (IANAL) that pre-nups become less “iron-clad” the longer the couple is together AND when you throw in this level of admission of indiscretion.

My advice … Hillary, you need to spend the remaining time wrapping Trump around the neck of every single Republican candidate who hasn’t repudiated him. I hear theRepublican insiders are suggesting that their voters who might not vote for President (or vote for her or Johnson) to at least stay loyal to the down ticket candidates.

Hillary needs to remind these voters that if their own moral compasses won’t allow them to support Trump, what does that say about their candidate who still backs him? They need to get rid of those as being as unsuitable for public office as Trump is.

Privately, Hillary can state that it’s ok to have public and private positions that differ. But publicly, she’d better claim that they’re the same thing.
Explain how having different public and private views (i.e., not blurting out in public everything you privately think about a person or issue) constitutes lying. That doesn’t make one shred of sense to me at the moment, but I’m willing to listen.
