What’s you’re definition of a “disaster”? Because up until now you don’t seem to accept disaster and Democrat in the same sentence. It’s as if it’s not possible.

This is the fundamental factual error that, I believe, underpins every right-wing outrage about Clinton’s email: they think she exclusively communicated by emails on her private server, which meant that all of her confidential communications were run through an unsecure email service.

That is NOT true. There are special means by which secret information is communicated. As noted by Procrustus, the types of “classified” materials that ended up being found on the server were things like newspaper articles (because over-classification is a very serious and real problem in our government), and NOT the good stuff, like military targets or counter-intelligence.

Which is why it’s a tempest in a teapot, but the low-information Right is well and truly outraged.

There’s also the fact that the State Department’s personal/unclassified email systems that she was supposed to have used WERE FUCKING HACKED along with many other systems! And not only that, but all those diplomatic cables and other shit were plucked right off the ACTUAL FUCKING CLASSIFIED SYSTEM and dumped onto Wikileaks! Crazy as it may seem, in reality it turns out any secrets were actually SAFER on Hillary’s private server.

I’m not actually. The OP was asking Cloth if he could lay out any disasters, so far I don’t feel as someone who is neutral in politics for the most part. I guess to answer your question, some of Billdo Shaggins’ crime and punishment stuff was a disaster to poor and black folks.

I’m actually looking for some ignorance on my part to be fought by people that are smarter than me… if you aren’t up to the task than so be it, but don’t make any assumptions on my part. That makes you look… dumb. You could be smarter than I am and you could totally have a point that I would totally be receptive to it.

I’m not that clear these days I guess.

If a democrat had started the Iraq war, I’d consider that a disaster. The problem with defining anything the democrats have done as a “Disaster” is that the republicans really have set the bar incredibly high.

Vietnam counts. Maybe the mess at the end of the Carter administration. Last 8 years? None that I can think of. Things weren’t perfect, but nothing at the level of 9/11, the Iraqi Invasion, and the Great Recession.

Vietnam, but that was a bipartisan disaster. Not vetoing the repeal of Glass-Steagall.

The supermajority at the beginning of Obama’s first term was squandered, but I probably wouldn’t label that a disaster.

I did see it. And then I asked what would constitute a Democrat disaster in your mind, if there’s ever been one (actually I was asking a different poster, the OP).

Whatever definition the poster is relying on for ‘disaster’ apparently can’t include a Democrat. Thus anything a Republican says is a Democrat disaster he can brush away and dismiss as not being a ‘disaster’ and continue his nonsense game.
