I just saw a video posted to Facebook of these two guys out for an early morning run and they encountered a clown on a suspension bridge. They yelled at the clown and it turned toward them. One guy goes “Dude he has a knife” and the clown started chasing them. This was in Ohio.

One of the linked articles in this thread wasn’t so much about a clown sighting as it was a story by a police officer who tried to track down many of the stories in his town. I thought this one paragraph was a great summary of the situation…
I spoke with a young man this morning who claimed that he was assaulted by the crazy creepy clowns of Rolla, Missouri! While talking with him he told me that he lied. I of course asked him if he actually had seen any creepy clowns and he began to explain how there were a couple in this other park. I asked him if he was lying again and he said that he was. He quickly admitted that he had not been assaulted, stabbed, threatened, mean mugged or even given a stern talking to by any clown whatsoever. He had not seen a clown, creepy or not, of any kind.
Police find 2 clown masks in the woods, put nearby High School on “modified lockdown”.

Unconfirmed reports of clown idiots here in Podunk this morning, I had to pull up some YouTube clips from this movie for our office manager - she had never heard of it. I hope it’s on Netflix, should be a hit leading up to Halloween.

Last night, our sheriff’s department found the body of an elementary school girl in the woods – she’d been reported missing from her home nearby. No details yet, of course, but by the time the story reached my neighborhood a few miles away, somehow clowns in the woods were implicated. The media strikes again.
No sightings in Wyoming yet, but my school district locked down the junior high and high school today after an anonymous Snapchat threat featuring…a clown.

I am pretty sure this was the last of the lower 48 states to be removed from the clownless list. That just leaves Alaska and Hawaii.
