I’ll try to stay in order, but I’m tired and sorely in need of a shower, so this may be short.
Ayesha - Not asking for food. I’m quite full. I was asking that if people didn’t like what I was saying, not to sidetrack a thread to point it out, to please do so here, where it belongs. And, BTW, I find it perfectly acceptable to flame me within my own threads.
Phil - Oh, wow. That’s like a ‘Worst of Me’ list right there. You did your homework. I think we can all admit to posting things here we have come to regret. And yes, the Holiday Collection part was funny.
UncleBeer - You’re not alone. Sometimes, I get on a streak and actually do amuse people. Mostly, I just talk and people look at me, then walk away.
Zette - I’m sorry I offended you. I truly did not intend to offend everyone like was done. Most people won’t believe me, but I was just struck with a stupid thought, and phrased it in a stupid way.
Okatym - One question: Are you perfect? Answer that question. I want a one word answer. Are you perfect?
Coldfire - You’re right. White people are referred to as white, and people with darker colored skin in the brown range are referred to as black. I refuse to say African-American simply because it makes no sense. Dave Matthews is an african-american. The phrase makes no sense. But nigger? No. And Coldfire? You’d have to say alot worse than I have before I would think less of you.
People, I talk out my ass alot. More here than in real life, because, being raised in a large part on computers and the net, this is so much more impersonal. You older members may take this as a big meeting where friends get together and talk. For the younger set, we say whatever we feel like, without worrying of repercussions. Because there are none. You don’t have to get mad at us for being more rash and less tactful. That’s how and what the internet and message boards are to us. I don’t take anything anyone here says about me personally, and although many of you probably do, often times that is forgotten. Not because I’m a moron. Not because I’m a jerk. Not because I’m a hypocrite. Because that’s how life is for me. That’s how life is for alot of people. Especially people who have been using an electronic medium their whole life. You may say things on here you would never say in real life. Younger people say things in real life that you would never say. So imagine to what degree that further openness will be taken to in the shadows of anonymity. I’m not telling anyone here to change, and I sure don’t plan on changing. If you are as mature as you say you are (and I believe you are) and I am as I say I am, there is nothing stopping us from getting along, and wonderfully so. At least, not on my end. Its all of you who are not accepting me. I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably be forced to say it again. I’ve not judged any single one of you. Even the ones who are completely polar opposites of me. I would expect, but probably won’t get, the same amount of respect from you. Is it because I’m young? Maybe. Is it because I’m open? Probably. Is it because I hold those different views? Most likely.
Or, this could all be a lie to cover myself just long enough to squeeze in some more inflammatory remarks. Take it as you will.

We are the children of the Eighties. We are not the first “lost generation” nor today’s lost generation; in fact, we think we know just where we stand - or are discovering it as we speak.
