CNN: "Bring out your dead!"

Hopefully, no one has already started a thread about this…

From www.thesmokinggun.com :

“APRIL 16–While all news organizations prepare obituaries in advance of the deaths of famous individuals, the folks at CNN inadvertently gave the Internet-surfing public a chance to preview how the network’s web site would note the demise of Vice President Dick Cheney, Ronald Reagan, and a few other prominent figures”

“I’m not dead!”
“'Ere, he says he’s not dead!”
“Yes he is.”
“No I’m not!”
“He isn’t?”
“Well he will be soon. He’s very ill.”
“I’m getting better!”
“No you’re not. You’ll be stone dead in a moment.”

[/python]

What is more disturbing is the way they have Fidel Castro’s picture, with Ronald Reagan’s bio.

Or Cheney’s pic with the “Life of Queen Consort” link below…

That link is restricted for me. Does it contain any “full frontal nudity”, possibly?

Also, would I be the first to say to you “When come back, bring Pi”?

We were just laughing at this on irc here at work…certainly not the first folks that come to my mind as being on top of CNN’s hit list…

You would, indeed, be the first.

That’s a terrible pun, by the way.

And I’m stealing it.

I’d swear that the “show signature” box was checked…

Let’s try again…
