I mentioned this co-worker in another thread. He used to sit out in the open but was moved into my aisle when my supervisor found out that other departments were laughing at him when he fell asleep-- snoring and drooling.
He smells bad. Not like he doesn’t take a bath. More like he keeps his clothes in a wet, moldy cellar.
He mutters to himself. Mostly things like: “Shut up, shut up Shut up!” and “No, I said. NO!”
He doesn’t like to talk to people and has a problem with direct eye contact. He will go as far as sheilding his face with folders and turning his body towards a wall if someone passing him in the hallway so much as looks like they might be thinking of sayng hello to him.
He was taken off of phone duty because, well, he really has a problem dealing with people. (One claiment called back and got me on the phone. She wanted to congratulate the company on hiring the mentally handicapped in such high profile jobs. She wasn’t kidding.)
He’s mostly very quiet and keeps to himself. But every once in a while he’ll take offense at something someone did or said and he’ll start yelling. It’s really strange when this happens because he is usually so quiet.
Another co-worker (who sits directly behind him)complained to the supervisor. She said she was alarmed and more than a little frightened of him. She was told that she was over-reacting and that the company needed the manpower. This guy will work 10 hour days.
So, what peice of office furniture has the best bullet stopping potential?
