Coffee Fun Fact

Did you know that a single coffee tree produces only about a pound of coffee beans per year?

This fun fact was brought to you from under my Snapple lid.

Thank yew.

No.

No, I did not.

It came from under a snapple lid.

Ah, found one:

From this page. Interesting stuff, actually.

Oh, and very cute, Ferry.

Sure! Here’s a bunch o’ virtual Snapple lids. It’s gotta be under one of them!

Knock yerself out!

Awww but my lid is #135 - I don’t see it there. :frowning:

quoted from cite:

“What is coffee? Coffee is the seed of a cherry from a tree, which grows from sea level to approximately 6,000 feet, in a narrow subtropical belt around the world.”

Yearggghhhhhhhhhh!!! 6,000 foot tall trees!!

Hrm… I was flipping through the virtual lids Lola linked to. Each lid gives you two ‘facts’, one true, one false, and you have to guess which is the true one. On one of the ones I got, one of the two ‘facts’ was “A duck’s quack doesn’t echo”. So naturally, I picked the other one as the true one without even reading it, knowing that the quacking not echoing thing is false, as has been discussed 'round these parts on numerous occasions. But it told me I was wrong, that the true one is that a ducks quack does not echo.

So. I’m not sure we wanna be using Snapple fact lids as cites.

Hmmm… they don’t seem to be randomized, like I thought they might be. #36 is the duck quacking question.

Coffee fun fact: I love coffee.
