My friend today claimed that Pepsi is drunk more than Coke. I told him I’d prove to him that this wasn’t true. I’ve searched long and hard but I haven’t been able to find out how much coke or pepsi is sold in a year. The closest I’ve found is that everyone drinks on average 1/4 of a can per day. Can anyone help me find evidence to prove my friend wrong? Or to prove me wrong?
Thank You

not exactly the answer ur looking for, but something i’ve been wondering about this subject for a while: when i drink coke i get insane stomach aches, i never had this problem when i was younger or anything but now i do…i can down pepsi all day long and not have a problem. what’s the deal? what’s different about coke that my body doesn’t like?
It might be more accurate to say that the US per-capita consumption averages 1/4 can/day. I drink on average about .003 cans/day (about 1/year).
Well Coke is no longer the 800 pound gorilla they once were but they’re still comfortably number one. Look here for some CSD industry info.
Good Site MonkeyMensch.
I assume that this is global sales? 4 billion 461 million cases for 2002. That’s a lot of fizz.
Thanks MonkeyMensch thats exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.
