He hasn’t posted in a year or so.
Anybody know of him?
He just joined the SDMB LinkedIn group, so presumably he’s still out there.
He posted in his most bumped thread two hours after you started this one.
I guess he’s only mostly dead, err, inactive.

I’m still alive! Just haven’t been keeping up with the SDMB as much as, say, a decade ago. Busy with life and other things.
I suppose most people by now don’t have a clue who I am, which should be the natural order of things. But just for those who do remember me: Heloise and I are still happily married, and living just outside Amsterdam. No kids, two cats.
We check the SDMB every now and then, but have sort of grown out of the habit. I guess old-timers from the 1999 days may understand how that works - 11 years is a long time, and a lot has changed.
Maybe I’ll start an “Ask the former Moderator” thread or something.

Funny, I was just thinking about **Coldfire **the other day; nice to hear from you again. IIRC as a mod, you were fairly even handed. I, too, though not from 1999 post rarely, but I still lurk on occasion.
And also fun to watch get all oogied out by the zit popping thread, too…

I thought it went in the opposite order. Like I said in the other thread, Coldfire, it’s good to see you around here again. So, about all those stories the older mods are telling me about you. Are they true?

I wish I’d taken a picture of my diabetic ulcer when it was really big and nasty looking. Now it’s mostly healed up, and hardly looks gross at all. If I’d known he was still around, I’d have taken a pic for the ClogMod.
