Nice to see 'SC take Stanford to the woodshed, finally. I was pretty tired of losing to those guys. Glad that McCaffrey bastard went Pro.
They played a good game and perhaps should have won but for a couple big plays.
Well, if one Big Ten team had to lay an egg, I’m glad it was Ohio State. Oh How I Hate Ohio State. Good win for Sparty against a still good WMU team, no TDs allowed on defense yet this year. A week off and then ND. MSU needs just one more win to match last year’s total!
Cal had all it could handle with Weber State yesterday. Meanwhile, USC dispatches Stanford with ease.
The Bears host SC in 2 weeks. My prediction: Pain. (And it’s a home game, so I have to witness it in person.)
SC are arrogant effs. Cal have shown they are resilient against NC. Cal have a chance.
Thank You! ![]()
I respect peeps who own their own arrogance.
It’s my curse of big games. Up 10-15 with 4 minutes to go? It’s going to OT, and my team loses. ISU was far better than just about anyone expected, they just didn’t have enough horses in the stable to close it out. It bodes well for the Big 12 season, though.
At night, in 40 degree weather, with rain… ![]()
My Sooners jump to #2 after laying a beatdown on tOSU. #happydance
Now you’re just flirting! ![]()
Not as much of a chance now, without Tre Watson. At least he was in only two games, so he should qualify for a medical redshirt.
Michigan is not looking good in the first half.
Not saying Air Force are schlubs they should steamroll, UM just doesn’t look good.
Northern Illinois 21 Nebraska 17, with 1:30 left in the 4th quarter. Wow, how Nebraska has really fallen.
As a Buckeye fan, I can confirm that they never do.
Right now, I’m watching the incredible defensive struggle between UCLA and Memphis (I saw the score, and thought is was Basketball!). First I’ve seen of this Rosen character this season. 'SC vs UCLA could be an epic shootout later this season.
The Big Ten isn’t looking so big right now.
And a Pac-12 team lost to an American Athletic Conference team, which is not good. However, by the transitive property of football it also reflects badly on Texas A&M, and therefore the entire SEC.
Not surprised UCLA lost. 9:00 AM start, humid as hell - not good for a west coast team. And Mora’s teams have a tendency to overlook opponents and immediately lose upon a jump into (or a big jump up) the rankings. Though I actually don’t think they came out flat, just injuries piled up and the defense is still garbage like it was in the A&M game. Can’t depend on your QB to score 45+ every week.
Nothing ever seems to reflect badly on the SEC.
It’s called soft PAC-12 defense.
