Combination Bidet/hot air dryer

Oddly enough, CyberSybar, yes “you can get one with a combination hot air dryer”. A moment’s research on the web informs us of the “Intimist”, a Panasonic Matsushita product:

How do you use a bidet?

Hey, my parents in Japan has one of those multifunction toilets at home. It has a dual-position bidet nozzle, heated seat and of course a hot air dryer. It also has an infrared sensor which activates a deodorizer (probably a negative-ion generator) when you sit down. Best of all, it has an infrared remote! This allows you to mount the control in front of you without any unsightly wires running to the control. The newer models have a “WonderWave” feature, which is a bidet nozzle that squirts 70 pulses of water per second instead of a continuous stream.

Unfortunate choice of words.

I was afraid of the toilet in my hotel room at the New Otani in Tokyo. It had all kinds of buttons and lights with strange little icons. I am sure it had a bidet, dryer and who knows what else attached.

Yes, in fact, you can get them with dryers. Toto, the largest manufacturer of toilets in Japan offers many models with air dryers. They are fairly common in private residences in Japan. They do have a U.S. presence now.

Although the product line does not appear to be as complete as it would be in Japan.

Here is their Japanese homepage, you can view the pictures without IME or other Japanese character reader installed
