But I probably won’t. As I’m sure most of you have heard, there’s a winter advisory in expectation of a major snowstorm coming in Saturday afternoon. I’d love to come up to Albany but not at the cost of driving 120 miles home through a blizzard. I’ll check the weather in the morning but unless the outlook changes, I’ll have to pass on this one.
Damn.
They’re using the word “blizzard” now, which can’t be good. Those of you more than an hour out of town might want to think this over, like little Nemo, because it’s not going to be fun driving.
What are the odds that I’ll be the only one to show?
I will be there for sure. Don’t know if anyone’s reading this this close to it, but I will most definitely be there. I’ll wait for a while, and if no one shows, we’ll try it again!

Seriously, folks, there’s a winter storm warning from noon today to noon tomorrow, and they’re now calling for 24 to 36 inches. Let’s try again in June.
Well, me and **taxi78cab ** were there. I just got back, actually.
For those of you coming from far, it’s best. The roads aren’t that bad yet, but the visibility is pretty atrocious.
Exgineer, 50 lashes with a wet noodle from me, and probably another 50 from taxi78cab. Although if your girlfriend wants to do the honors, that’s fine with me.
