For the first time ever I went on a trip with Shadowfox, without my kids, without my husband. Had the greatest time. (Dopers are really cool people!) After a wonderful weekend we got to the airport around 2pm Sunday and it went downhill from there. The computer went down at the airport and the line didnt even move for at least 20 mins. while we are waiting to check in our luggage.
I call home and my daughter tells me her and the rest of my kids got spanked by my oldest son. (Boy did he get in trouble, argghhh) I flight was delayed, and i didnt have a ciggarett for almost 5 hrs… I got home and my house was trashed from one end to another. (I have home inspection on Tuesday from the manager of our apts.) My husband went playing with his cousins (meanwhile I have to pay the babysitter who was picking up my husband and thats why my house got trashed.) My husband did not take my kids to see their grandmothers for mother’s day! And I found out I may not get my refund check until August because they picked me for a random manual review! (If it wasnt for bad luck I wouldnt have any luck at all!) Yeppers, Im definately back home! Oh yeah, and my husbands cousins think Im a witch for "taking all my hubby’s money to go to Chicago!) They must have forgot im his wife…not his girlfriend! Phew thanks for letting me get that out.lol
Well, it was great to meet you there, and hopefully you can come next time without all the bad luck at home.
The funny thing is, I fully expected to come home to find my house trashed too. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was cleaner than when I left. My hubby even took out the big area rug from the dining room and scrubbed it down with that OxyClean stuff. He didn’t cut the grass like I asked him though.
I’m glad you had fun dear. Even if I did make you walk way too much 
The walking was way worth it! I was more stress free and rested that weekend then I have been in over a year
