Commerce: Third time the charm? Is this one a Locke?

Former Washington Gov. Locke seems to be getting the nod this time.

From what I can gather (radio report) big on energy policy and business with China.

Good choice? Will he make it through?

Says on the intertubes that he has been working for a lawfirm on governmental relations and China work. I’d like clarification on these activities and whether any of them involved lobbying - given the stated goals of the administration in this regard, that isn’t asking much.

Other than that, I think in general a president ought to have his pick of cabinet officers - so no objections unless I find out something I don’t know now.
