I’m sorry, are you so delusional that you believe you have had some sort of decision-making role in a Soviet government that has long-since ceased to exist? If not, who is this ‘we’ of which you speak?
It’s the editorial We, the Royal We. Guess you didnt know Comissar’s favorite fix was White Russian.
I’m aware he claims a Russian heritage. My objection stands: he has not demonstrated that he is part of any ‘we’ that had any direct, or even indirect, role in the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, other than a claimed national ancestry that may or may not be shared with people that did. He is welcome to present evidence otherwise if he feels this is an unfair statement.
I almost forgot. Gonna have to dock you some trolling points for failing to properly refer to our glorious Red Army by it’s proper name, the glorious Red Army of Workers and Peasants (Рабоче-Крестьянская Красная Армия). What kind of socialist do you think you are, tossing aside the workers and peasants?
I enjoy the fact that he’s here in ‘the Empire’, assisting capitalism continue to grow and be strong.
kidchameleon: Don’t forget that he’s either (a) become naturalized a citizen of “the Empire” or (b) has illegally voted in elections in “the Empire.” That’s assuming that he’s an adult and telling the truth in his posts.
That was awesome.
Thanks for posting it.
However you still don’t sound like an actual Russian Communist, but instead sound like a Tom Clancy bad guy.
As I said before, you need to do better research to avoid mistakes like saying “homeland” instead of “motherland”.
A good place to start, if you don’t like reading academic books would be to pick up Martin Cruz Smith’s Gorky Park.
That would help you sound like the real thing.
Actually I don’t think he is a troll. I am beginning to believe he actually isn’t. What I mean by that is that ‘Commissar’ is obviously a bot designed to imitate the old style commie from the bad days. All we need to do to defeat this bot is create our own Ronald Reagan bot and let them go at it.
To start, I took the liberty of pasting this quote from ‘Commissar’ into ElBot.
Elbot responded with:
Obviously, ElBot is much more advanced.

Not sure what you’re driving at. This may be due to the fact that I can appreciate the difference between the unprovoked murder of innocents, on the one hand, and coming to the aid of a good friend beset by a mob of fanatical assailants financed by our greatest foe, on the other.
As far as I know, it is not altogether unheard of to use “we” when referring to a larger group that includes oneself. It is appropriate to use the term “we” when referring to the actions of one’s own national group, as well, regardless of whether or not one directly participated in the specific undertaking under discussion. Hell, I’ve even heard rumors that some minor Imperial document or other prominently features this word, which apparently you and you alone find so objectionable:
Er… Thank you for thinking so highly of me, but I hardly believe that my presence within the Empire contributes in any meaningful way to the continuation of its capitalist ideology. I am not affiliated with its politicians, I have no ties to its military, and I do not work for its spy agencies. I pay taxes, sure, but the same taxes would be paid by anyone filling my current employment position. My leaving would in no way harm the Empire, so your argument is erroneous.
I’m a tad doubtful the CIA had a significant role in pre-1979 Afghan politics (I know the Soviets claimed they did, but I’d like an independent source) and in any case if the Afghan government was undergoing changes, that was an internal matter for the Afghans to sort out. Surely the Afghan people have the right to determine their preferred form of government, no?
Great, then you should have no problem at all with any of the following questions:
On what basis are you claiming association with the Soviet government of the late 1970s? How old were you when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan? Did you participate in some sort of public referendum (which as far as I know never happened) on the decision to invade? How many members of your family fought there? Since you so clearly support it now, what, if anything, did you provide to the war effort (other than to post ham-handed propagandizing on an Internet message board decades after the fact)?
Empire Empire Empire Empire Empire.
Careful, if you say it seven times, a Navy Seal will come and shoot you in the back of the head.
Or was that what you were going for?
See, that’s the denial that communism breeds. It’s okay if I help the US Government carry on, anyone else could be doing it. You should be in a leadership role!
But in reality, it isn’t someone else, it’s you funding this wonderful capitalistic nation.
Huh. I didn’t know the Navy had flipper-held weapons.
No kidding. That’s pretty harsh. I always thought they just balanced you on their noses.
I… didn’t know that was an acronym. :smack:
What cracks me up the most about the TIQ[sup]1[/sup] is that he rails about how bad “the Empire” is; however, he’s most certainly a product of “the Empire”: product of its schools, product of its culture, and most certainly a beneficiary of what it has to offer (freedom from the tyrannical regimes he’s so much in love with the idea of being in love with[sup]2[/sup]).
[sup]1[/sup]Troll-in-Question: pronounced just like the other annoying blood-sucker.
[sup]2[/sup]Credit to my oldest brother who coined that phrase while a Cadet at the USMA.
I love Soviet History. And I am particularly enamored with the Soviet military history.
Thus, I would now like to claim to be a Soviet.
I in no way endorse Communism, and I repudiate the dialectic with all my heart and soul.
That shouldn’t be a problem though, right comrade?
So, what’s the line on when the long-awaited user-title of “BANNED” appears under the troll’s user-id, less than 24 hours?
