I do believe that you are trolling. However, as I’ve told Gonzo and Le Jac, I’m not here to debate YOU, or to take your positions seriously, but to comment on and address your claims or assertions. You (or they) aren’t worth ‘debating’ (certainly not on this Libya thing in your case). I’m here to fight ignorance…my own in a lot of cases, and other peoples if I can. If you throw out an obviously trolling OP like the one in GD about Libya then I’m there to dismiss your positions and take them as a joke, making you look as bad and stupid as I can. Not because I necessarily want to hurt you (I think you are trolling, so any insults or dismissal of your position will be at worst water off a duck, and at best it’s what feeds you and makes you happy), but for the lurkers out there who may be following along. If they see you and your over the top and obviously affected responses for what they are, then they are going to dismiss you as either a clown or deluded. Either works for me. I AM just a wheel or cog in the machine that is the SD…I add my derision and scorn (when needed) to the mix of better and more knowledgeable posters in an effort to grind away the ignorance, stupidity and, of course, trolls like you who are just trying to get a rise.
As in a CT thread, a lurker coming in and seeing the treatment of someone trying to advocate that Kaddafi is a great leader, unjustly persecuted by the traitorous elements, rebels, terrorists and The West™ is going to see your positions mocked and shredded, and hopefully that lurker is going to go away at least a little bit more enlightened. Even if he or she never bothers to read more about what is going on in Libya, they are going to remember the mockery and derision heaped on you in this thread and take away the impression that anyone peddling this sort of horseshit in the future is a nutter…or, if they followed up by reading this thread, a troll.
