“I put it up when he was still alive, so it’s alright!”
Also Tony Hale when the doctor makes a masterpiece:
“I want to kiss you on the mouth”. (I’m pretty sure that was a deliberate Blanche Dubois/Streetcar Named Desire reference.)

There was also a Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters references w/ Jeff exclaiming “This means something!”
And I know it’s been mentioned already - but Annie’s claywork was… inspiring… Someone should make an looping animated gif of that scene.
I wasn’t too fond of this episode at first, but it grew on me. Kind of like Pierce. As someone who had taken a ceramics class before, I was pleased to see that the classroom looked very similar to the ceramics classrooms I’ve been in. I sympathized with Jeff at his frustration over not being able to make a nice vase. It’s actually incredibly hard to do and requires a lot of hand coordination most people don’t have.
It was nice seeing Buster Bluth again. When Dr. Rick (?) had his own internal flashback both my boyfriend and I shouted out simultaneously “The wrong kid died!”
Kind of funny that they took a shot at Arrested Development with the “Narration is a crutch” joke.
You get -1 SDMB point for not knowing it would be a dig at the SDMB beloved show Arrested Development. (Unless you are being ironic, then you get +1 SDMB point.)

I did notice that Anthony Russo directed this episode. Are the Russo brothers involved a lot w/ “Community”?
