They’re really on a roll, aren’t they?

The parody was pitch perfect, down to the font on the credits. I loved the aquarium, and the reading of the rights. Also the music cue after Magnitude’s name was mentioned fit in perfectly.
Was the twist real?

Sweet deans, everyone.

There had been quotes from Dan Harmon saying that someone would die this season. I think most people assumed it would be Pierce or Leonard.

RIP Starburns… What a way to go, huh?

Another great episode. As you say, spot on parody.

God help me, I laughed out loud at the Starburns ending.

“Man’s gotta have a code.”

Dean: “That’s awesome.”

“I’m gifted in other ways.”

“Objection. I hate the both of you.”

“I can make it into an old west theme.”

“The explanation isn’t the issue!”

Best episode for a long time IMHO.

Loved it! That wasn’t the last one of the season, was it?

Having never in my life seen a single episode of Law & Order, I have a feeling that a lot of this episode is going to go completely over my head.

I loved how they used an interstitial card to cut off Britta.

Bonk bonk.

They actually had the L&O medical examiner lady!

No matter what other role that actress ever takes I’ll always hear her voice as the M.E.!

I caught about half of an episode of SVU this afternoon, and that seemed enough of a frame of reference.

I like how Starburns dropped two backpacks before bolting.

I’d be curious to hear what someone who’d never seen L&O thought of it. I feel like the episode would work pretty well as just a parody crime drama, but someone who’s never seen L&O wouldn’t be able to appreciate how well this episode mirrored the structure and look of a typical L&O episode.

That was freaking hilarious!

Britta’s scene was great, but I wish we had seen her more.

Todd is always funny.

Annie’s reaction after forcing the confession from Todd was awesome.

RIP Starbur… er, Alex. (“He got rear-ended and the meth lab in his trunk exploded.” :D)

I didn’t understand the episode title until the closing credits thanked L&O producer Dick Wolf. :smack:

That was effing amazing! I have never seen a parody so pitch perfect.

(In sensurround Troy and Abed stereo):

“Why do they always ru–”

“Why do they–”

Troy: “Go ahead.”
Abed: “Why do they always run?”

(Dash away all. Chu-chung!)

“We can’t both do the stinger.”

“…a witness who, for all we know, could be a Holocaust Denying 9/11 child molester. Withdrawn.”
