Wow… I’m a big fan of this show but I really didn’t like tonight’s episode. Anyone able to get into this one?
I thought it was brilliant, personally. I liked each character’s descent into madness. And the moment when Annie realized the Dean was crazy: “If the Dean wants his character to be played by an Asian man in a blond wig …”
Not a classic, but still better than most TV. Loved Jeff as the dean.
“Did you ever hear of Stockholm syndrome?”
“Did Dean Pelton invent it?”
“You can fax your application.”
And, of course, the hints of potential romance between Troy and Britta.
Loved it! That’s all I have to say.
“Internet Keyword: Greendale” on the old ad was pretty good.
Fun stuff.
Was that Captain Awesome (the brother in law from Chuck?) with the quick cameo in the original Greendale ad?
This episode must have been written to make the Dean earn his name being in the opening credit animation.
Winger as the Dean was hilarious.
I love Luis Guzman, so I am glad they turned the throw away statue joke into a pretty funny cameo.
I’ll admit, there were a few times times where I wasn’t sure if I was seeing Jeff or the Dean.
Yeah, McHale really captured Rash’s mannerisms perfectly in some of the scenes.
It was Captain Awesome! The original commercial was pretty great. And I’m really curious about seeing whatever Dean made that Abed replaced with the good enough new commercial.
Is it just me, or is Crazy Annie hotter than Regular Annie?
What was the caption under Jeff’s name at the beginning? My local station chose that exact moment to slap its logo on the bottom of the screen, so I couldn’t read it.
“Former Lawyer”
Luis Guzman? I loved you in in in in in in in in in in in in in innnnn inn inn in in in IMDB…?
Yep, many awesome moments in last night’s episode. Loved Jeff in the Pelton skullcap and watching him channel Big Gay Al on the first day of shooting (and Pelton thinking it was spot on).
I liked it alot.
This one, the multiple time lines ep and the one about the ghost stories have been my favorites.
What was there not to like?
I thought there were a few decent laughs (e.g. Britta and Troy being forced to redo their hug scene for 12 hours). But the idea for the story fell a bit flat for me.
Loved it.
“Some flies are too awesome for the wall.”
Sad fact of life: Crazy is always hotter.
“Can you ever forgive me?”
“…yep”
Cracked me the hell up.
I liked it. A little bit out there, but that’s why I love this show - I’d rather have it try something weird and not quite hit the mark than a million formulaic sitcom episodes.
Just the right amount of Chang.
“And bring me a granola bar!”
