Also, was that Appomattox University I saw on Pelton’s degree (when he set it on fire)?

If so, that was another nice little allusion to him losing his personal war.

“I’m such a silly goose. Honk! Honk!”
“This is my sister’s outfit!”

He was spot on. I was waiting for him to reveal that he really shaved his head.

Regular Annie dresses hotter.

I liked it. I think the show needs to stick to its premise a little more, so I like when the episodes actually rely on the fact that the characters are in a Community College, as this one did.

Day one: $600 under budget

Day two: $16,000 over budget.

That was great. I was actually expecting to find out he’d gone to Princeton or someplace like that.

I’m really going to miss this show when they take it off the schedule to bring frickin 30 Rock back.

Joel McHale doing Jim Rush, holy crap, he was awesome. Even that time he was just walking away from someone and raised his hand up dismissively. WHOA.

As much as I like to be seen agreeing with you… I really liked this episode.

yeah, mchale did a fair bit of acting in this episode. i, for one, liked it. are they setting up a britta/troy relationship, or what?

Sometimes the shows are so broad that the cast seems to be “acting” acting. You can watch them. This one was broader, but they were having so much fun kicking every director they’ve ever hated that they felt more real than usual.

My favorite moment came at the very end, when Abed lifts his eye from the camera he’s holding to give a quizzical look to the camera filming the actor. It was a great break-the-fourth-wall moment, and makes me want to rewatch the episode to isten to Abeds commentary as commentary on the show itself.

STOP SAYING I’M DIFFERENT!!
Donald Glover screaming/crying/in-distress is the greatest thing that’s happened to television.

It said “Former Lawyer”.

Man, that episode was brilliant.

Thought it was a great episode. I didn’t buy that everyone would willingly go along with the dean’s crazy ideas for so long, but maybe they were obsessed with being in a commercial that would air for 20 years.

And it felt like Pelton was also turning into Winger in the middle, when his beard was growing in, and his voice got gruff. It was like they were channeling each other.

Amazing.

That should have been hit on a few times, it would have made them going along with it more sensible.

I wonder when the Brita/Troy thing is going to come to a head.

Have you ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome?

Did Dean Pelton invent it?

(I know, RealityChuck already had this joke earlier in the thread, but … what was I supposed to do, fax it in?)

a"I AM NOT LEAVING THIS TRAILER UNTIL I GET MY OWN TRAILER AND THEN I AM NOT LEAVING THAT TRAILER UNTIL I GET CRAFT SERVICES!"

Another Wilhelm Scream - during the Dean’s commercial that he was showing to Luis Guzman.
