Just saw this. Watch the guy in the background of the third clip.
This goes beyond meta.

phenomenal.
I’m waiting for further explorations of Britta/Annie.
Sampiro got “Troy and Abed having GA-A-AY SEX!” stuck in my head and clips from the missing pen episode aren’t helping.
That’s why I love this show. You can watch the episodes a dozen time and still pick up new things.
If you watch the episode again, look at Annie’s Binder. It grows in size in just about every scene. In the final scene it’s comically over sized and stuffed with notes.
Also, the Dalmatian fetish continues, but it’s pretty understated (two posters on the margins of the screen and a paperweight on the right front corner of the deans desk.
Right before Jeff goes insane, when the student papers are being shown, one of the quotes is “I just want to see my hair again.” - Jeff Winger.
Britta - “Anarchist Cat Owner”
Amazing!
Who am I supposed to see?
As Annie says “Beetlejuice”, someone in a Beetlejuice costume walks past the window.
Anyway, what with tonight’s “Horton Hears a Who” crap? Is that some kind of American Thanksgiving pseudotradition?
Hint: his name was mentioned in all clips.
Watch the hallway behind Annie.
That’s more of a white afro than a Beetlejuice fright wig and the stripes on his suit line up with the blinds. I’m giving myself a pass on this one.
Yeah, the clip is way too short for me to see anything at all behind them.
it was the 3rd time the show mentioned beetlejuice, and upon 3 mentions of beetlejuice, you summon him - and right when annie said it the name the third time, a guy dressed up as beetlejuice happens to walk past in the background - either in costume or they had actually summoned him. usually when people explain jokes explicitly like this, it ruins it yet i’m still completely delighted by this gag.
Wow, good thing they weren’t saying Bloody Mary.
Uh, pause?
It was too short for pause to work. By the time I hit pause, it was on to the next part.
It’s at the 13 second mark. The guy walks past an indoor window in the background for a solid second or two.
Well, this might explain Captain Awesome appearing in the old Greendale commercial.
I read a synopsis of the next episode of Chuck (currently scheduled for 12/9) and apparently there will be a guest star from Community appearing in it.
Spoiler boxed because otherwise someone will throw a fit, I’m sure, but it’s not a real spoiler, just the name of the guest star
