Funny, I was look up Leonard’s name and came across NBC’s Greendale website and it has a section called “Campus Connect” where the “students” have a picture, some facts, and quotes from them.

On Pierce’s page it says - Favorite Movie: Fletch

I loved how crushed Troy looked when Abed said he had other interests. And that the winner was South Park.

Solid episode with lots of hidden little gems, but it’s often the stupid funny things that catch me off guard that I remember the most. Such as:

Yea, between the candidate intros, news crawl and table scratches, this episode must have been trying for some sort of award for most hard to catch text gags.

Some others:

-Lenard is part of the Whig party

-Pierce followed BNL for a summer,

-Starburns real name is Alex

-Chicken Finger Shortage Continues

-Professor Slater still missing

-“No paintball this spring”

-Reports Continue of “mysterious airvent monster”

I didn’t catch everything on the crawl, but one nice one was “Professor Slater still missing.”

Another asked “Human Being mascot – insensitive to animals?”

(Those are paraphrases from memory, probably not the exact words.)

ETA: D’oh, I see I was simulposting the Slater one with Simplicio.

I don’t get it.

There was an earlier episode where he kept stressing that his real name wasn’t Starburns, but Alex, and was obviously pissed about the nickname. I think all of the crawler text was call backs to earlier episodes.

Well, he said he didn’t want elected office because it might interfere with his drug dealing.

Oh man, that’s killing me for some reason. POP POP!

Awesome episode.

I like how Garret was in line for ice cream AND he is allergic to dairy.

I really loved Abed’s romantic subplot. And, his successful attempt to bring her back was hilarious.

“My name is Alex”
“Then maye you should’ve shaved that into your face!”

One of the crawlers was something hinting at a western-themed episode this season.

“That was fun. Do you want to observe me again some time? Honk twice for yes and once for no.”

It was the perfect date for Abed. No human interaction required.

It was something about the spring picnic. It said, ‘Dean hints at western theme.’

The AV Club noticed that too.

I hope that’s not just a tease, because now that the idea is in my head I want to see them do a Western episode!

Also, Annie’s age was wrong: she’s twenty.

They showed just the beginning of the next word, which started with an f. I assumed it was going to be “flute”.

What was the joke with the chess club one? I vaguely remember something about the chess club in some previous episode, but I can’t place it.

The Chess club was one of the “gangs” in the paint ball episode.
