Rash has been amazing for the run of the show. He commits totally to the role, no ironic distance or winking at himself.
He also wrote the best episode of the season. I, too, have some trepidation about the next season but I’d feel a lot better about it if they told me that Jim Rash was writing a few of the episodes.
He could always audit whatever class the study group decides to take together.
Deadline is reporting a rumor that Dan Harmon might return for the new season. Their logic is that he didn’t get along with Chevy Chase, but now that he’s gone, Harmon can return.
If Dan Harmon doesn’t return, I think Mark Harmon should be showrunner. Or maybe Angie Harmon.

They still have a long way to go to reach the quality of the third season of “The Cape,” however.

Yvette Nicole Brown has been appearing regularly on the Jeff Probst Show and does a pretty good job as a talk-show host (cohost?). I think that show has been cancelled, but I could see her handling her own show.
I liked her as a repeat guest on The Talking Dead, where she actually made some good points in talking about the episodes.
If a TV movie counts as part of the run then they’ll have to make it if they want syndication I guess. Have their been any other shows on American network TV that have had two half-seasons back-to-back?
I really hope season 5 is good. I’ve been fickle on a lot of shows lately, so I hope Community ends on a high note.
I finally saw this week’s ep at nbc.com and I thought it was pretty good. A few weeks ago when they teased the evil universe, I didn’t think too highly of it – they did that last year and it seemed like a step back. The way they did it worked for me and I think the past two episodes have been very good after misteps earlier in the season. I hope it picks up with next season and finds more of an audience – I know the show has struggled a bit but NBC is losing the Office after this season and already lost Up All Night, so they could use a sitcom on Thursday.
Anyone else catch the blackboard when Jeff was graduating said Six Seasons and a Movie on it?

Funny- he’s great in those- but (imho) he just doesn’t work in Community. He doesn’t gel with the others and the show’s about community. (Ooh! I just got it!)

Chang was really good in season 1 as their main adversary and teacher. They had no idea what to do with him after that.
