Community's Back! March 15th.

Spoofing their baffling limbo-hiatus in some very meta way that only Community can pull off.

Aye.

Well, they’re certainly going to air the rest of season 3. No word yet on if it’ll be picked up for a 4th. But, perhaps this is a good omen?

Then again, let’s see… Community wasn’t faring well against The Big Bang Theory in that time slot, so they tossed it into the Hiatus bin, replacing it with the ever beloved and strong ratings giant, 30 Rock… then their rating tanked up against TBBT… so now, they’re putting Community back in that slot again. NBC, don’t you go a’changin’!

Actually, my birthday is a couple of days before the Return. I’m counting New Community as a birthday gif. I’ll put it right next to the expected Van Gogh TARDIS print.

That would be sweet!

Also, they could do a spoof on ‘Road Trip’ movies.

I’ll do the same, although, I’ll have to make room for it next to the Inspector Spacetime Picasso poster.

Someone must do this.

More Community and no more Parks & Rec. NBC finally gets it right!

Nuh-uh! Parks and Rec is great! When they were aired back to back, it was an hour of comedy bliss for a while there (on top of DVRing TBBT to watch right after).

P&R will be back, but not until April 19th, after Up All Night finishes its run.

This is no longer the darkest timeline.

Then why do we all have goatees?

Why is mine felt?

Maybe they could do a crossover epidsode. Troy and Abed go west to a Star Trek convention in Pasadena so Troy can meet LaVar Burton. While there, the boys run into Sheldon and Leonard, who are there so Sheldon can meet Leonard Nimoy.

Gross. Plus, Troy’s already met LaVar, to his horror… Why would he put himself through that on purpose.

Sheldon can’t meet Nimoy. There is little matter of a restraining order.

That was my initial reaction too. But then Community does make its nut reveling in, while sending up, TV tropes and cliches. A crossover episode would be an obvious target. But it would have to be completely on Community’s terms.

Cougar Town is out, obviously. The Cape would have been out if it had gotten its seasons and a movie. Any other current shows they’ve mentioned as TV shows?

I’d vote for something really bizarre. Like The Good Wife or something with a scifi element like Fringe.

Obviously, a Community/Inspector Spacetime crossover – on Inspector Spacetime, of course.

Wow, and it’s after regionals! Just like they promised!
I don’t know how anything could outdo that Christmas episode, I must’ve watched that (or parts of it) near a dozen times before they took it down from OnDemand. But I sure will have fun watching them try.

Cougar Town is out, but not for obviously, but rather for they already did it. Lori (Laurie?) and Travis were in some of the scenes of the last paintball eps, and there was Abed in a Cougar Town scene, just like he said he would be.

What the hell are regionals?

I thought this WAS regionals?

Fringe was already referred to - albeit indirectly - in the model U.S. episode. I mean, alternate blue and red universes?

The science checks out.
