Morning all. I"m up, dressed, (mostly, anyway) and almost awake. The usual summer weather pattern has taken hold a bit early this year, so from now until September it’ll be hot and humid with a good chance of rain at random times throughout the day.
Insomnia and having to work in a hot warehouse today will make for a seriously sucky day. At least I get paid today, so may have the miniature emperor cater dinner.
Third night in a row that I was up till midnight. NOT FUN!!!
And I don’t have the luxury of trying to nap because company is arriving tonight and I can’t put anything off. Add to that, the fun of laundering cat-peed bed linens, well, it’s a glorious morning.
OK, it is nice out - 64° at the moment, so there’s that. Once I’m done with the laundry, I’ve got to mow the front ditch at the very least. Not sure how much other mowing I’m willing to attempt - I may weedwhack instead. We shall see.
And it’s the 25th - only six months till Christmas!!! :eek:

Taz did it again? That cat either needs a trip to the vet or a diaper.
I was logged off last night when this happened, but he peed on the pillows in the guest room, getting the sheets underneath in the process. The only reason we could come up with was that the litter box offended him. We typically just add fresh litter as needed rather than dumping it all. So last night, **FCD **dumped it all and refilled the box. We shall see if that works…

Today is an irk from home day. I shall spend a lot of irktime [del]bein’ bored outta my skull[/del] gettin’ all learnt up with on-line trainin’. ICK!
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I shall purtify. On the plus side irk attire shall be shorts and a tshirt.

Mr. Murphy says there is 100% chance of heavy, windy thunderstorms before I get home from irk. Mr. Murphy is more accurate than the NWS & bases his forecast on two things:
- NWS saying there’s a 60-70% change of thunderstorms (yeah, I believe them. :rolleyes:)
- I left the winders open. :smack:
I figure we’re going to have nasty storms, etc, tonight about the time my daughter and the inlaws will be crossing from VA into MD, because there’s nothing quite like the Nice Bridge in a gawd-awful storm!
All the bedding is on the line, and I have a load of shirts and shorts in the washer. Once they’re hung out, I’ll mow the ditch. Not sure how much else I’ll mow - we’ll just see.
I still want a nap!!

Laundry is done. Mowage is done. Showering and dressing are done. Shortly, I will have lunch, then head to Food Lion for a few items.
Humidity is getting stupidly high - I’ll have to close the house before long. Dammit.
I had a lunch of carrots, celery, and deeeelicious cheese sandwiches.
My postponed music composition lesson has been rescheduled for later today.
Howdy Y’all! Takin’ a break for N.O.L. from gettin’ all online learnt up. Have I mentioned that I am on vacation as of when I finish up today? I shall not return until July 7th! Yay! Five of those days are vacation days. We’re bein’ given next Firday and the followin’ Moanday for a looooooooong Independence Day weekend. I can handle that! 
OYKW is takin’ off next week and the Moanday after The Fourth as well. We shall be bears of leisure and sloth next week.
All righty. I’ve lunched. I’ve groceried. I’ve cleaned the bathrooms. I’ve closed the house and turned on the air. 
Shortly, I’ll bring in the laundry. Then I can remake the guest bed.
Hmmmm, if I bring the laundry in now, I might have time for a nap…

I am now officially on vacation. YAY!!! Beef tips ‘n rice, green beans, marinated cuke, onion, and mater sallit, and rolls for dindin. I shall celebrate the official first day of vacation tomorrow by mowin’! MOOOOOOM is my role model for leadin’ a life of leisure.
