Company's coming in the MMP!!!!!!!

I’m making my Sriracha curry breakfast wraps for brunch. But this time I’m using naan instead of tortillas.
[Shatner]NAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!!![/Shatner]

Midget, sorry about the car woes.

Feel better, sari.

Home from deheathenization Luteran style. Actually been home for a bit. We stopped and got some deli stuff. Any ingestion of foodstuffs today will be in the form of sammiches.

{{{Midget}}} hope you’re in a less crappy mood and nuttin’ major is wrong with car.

{{{MOOOOOOM and everybody dealin’ with the flooded basement}}} ICK!

The basement has been de-watered - fans are in place. The smoker and grill surface are clean. This is NOT how we planned to spend our day.

Thanks, all.
Well, I did find one good thing about the car. At least I tried to start it today and found out it wasn’t running, and it didn’t happen later on when I had a greater need to use the car.

Maybe I’ll actually get work done today, or maybe I’ll blow some time playing Sims. Or both.

I am equally remiss in thanking you for the warm birthday greeting. I spent the day at irk, where my co-workers paid for my lunch. Airman had roses waiting for me when I got home, and we had a lovely birthday dinner at Waffle House at 11:45 p.m. (Looooong story.) We had a real birthday dinner last night, because the sprog is now home from scout camp.

Rosie’s sig in general. And blurf. I’m having, ah, lady issues.

Up-ish, working on a can of Baja Blast, trying to clear the sleeping pill out of my system before deheathenation. The foot feels better, and since I have tomorrow off, I can give it another day of staying off it. 71 right now, sayeth TWC, projected high 93. We even have a slight chance of rain (20%).

It’s going to be way too hot this week. When the lowest projected high for a week is 93 and the highest 107, that’s IMO excessive.

The cat is vocal today. She apparently fails to grasp the concept of “human is not working, you have not heard an alarm yet, shut up and let human sleep”.

Wedding vid - I’m sure you can figure out who the bride is. Short white dress with feathers in her hair is my youngest sis. Green multi-print dress is my baby girl.

Yanno, now that I think about it, I’m not sure the wedding really took. The bride refused to permit the Chicken Dance!!

Happy Belated Birthday Rockin

I should go back and read to catch up but my brain is mush today so I won’t.

Pizza for lunch because I don’t feel like doing anything.

My house smells musty but I haven’t opened the basement door to see if its wet down there or not. Wet basements suck.
The truck is still out there. I say I am going to go park sideways across the drive so he can’t get out. Make the sucker come ask me to let him out when he wants to leave. I wonder it it would be against the law for me to refuse to move? However, that is more energy than I want to expend right now.
Maybe I could start selling it for parts?

What? A wedding with no Chicken Dance? Isn’t that illegal in thirteen states?

Those group/line dances always crack me up.
For whatever reason they make me think of geese.

The Chicken Dance is one of the very, very few dances I actually know how to do.

**sari **- they did several line dances. They also did Shout! and, a la Animal House, my sister did the alligator… on the floor… in that short dress…

Did you happen to notice where my sis knocked the drink out of the bride’s hand? It spilled on her dress and on the floor. I guess the dress can be cleaned. It really was lovely - cream rather than white, and no veil!

Not since the supreme court decision.

Or a french drain and sump system. We had to go that route in the end.

Have you considered a “battery tender”/trickle charger? Or is it more gas separation than battery? I know people who are basically once a month or two drivers of older cars and they use a additive to stabilize the gas and a small charger of sorts to keep the battery alive. Neither is real expensive (the battery tender doesn’t pull much juice) and could save the day sometime for you.

Clearly a woman of taste and education; if she ever gets divorced, let me know. She’s already met the main criteria of “my type”.

I guess I could look into that, though I’m not sure where to look for such a thing or how to use it, as I know next to nothing about cars. But thanks.

This afternoon we have managed sammiches for N.O.L. and nappage. Bein’ sloth bears is exhaustatin’! Who knew! 'Tis cloudy and drizzly out and there could be a line of tstorms headed this way.

MOOOOOOM that older lady in the red dress was ownin’ that line dance! I don’t know about the Chikin Dance but I do know that down south the weddin’ ain’t legal unless cheese straws are served at the reception. The Chikin Dance is not usually done down heah which I think is sad cause like Midget I can do me some chikin dancin’.

**swampy **- the lady in red is the mother of the best friend of the Mother of the Bride (is that convoluted enough?) My sis and Linda went to school together, and Red Lady is Linda’s mom.

I’m glad this weekend of visiting is winding down. My FIL is soooooooo forgetful - because of him, Taz got into the open garage last night. Oh the fun of containing a gray cat in the twilight shadows… Then today, FIL opened the door to the garage, then decided he wanted to get a snack before they went for a walk, and he came back in, leaving the door open. Luckily, Taz was sleeping in another room.

I know they’re older and these sort of things come with being older, but it’s still aggravating sometimes. So I’m nice to him, and I come here to vent my spleen. I suppose there’s just the slightest chance that I might be difficult when I get older…

Shortly, I will fire up the grill, then start making the german N.O.T. salad. Num!! Burgers over charcoal for supper.
