Company's coming in the MMP!!!!!!!

If we count mental age, then that would be me. I have the mentality of an eight year old boy.

And on that note, we shall now retire to the bedroom for sleepy time. We be two tahrd bears.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Pictures, or it didn’t happen!

I believed that you were a teen ager!

But I gotta keep my Interweb tubes clear for the money the nice Nigerian man is sending me.:frowning:

Both of us.

Because I’m immature as hell? Or maybe it means I have a nice youthful spirit? Not sure how to take that. :stuck_out_tongue:

I took my fingers for a walk on my piano.

Because you have a nice, youthful spirit and often speak of your parents.

Thanks.

You are very welcome. What does it mean, “An 8th-note short of a 4/4 bar”?
How can I recognize Wagner and Tchaikovsky when I have no knowledge of musical notation?

My tagline has sort of a threefold meaning. It can mean something like “a few bricks short of a load,” “a few clowns short of a circus” - that is, mentally unbalanced. It is also a reference to my favourite time signature, 7/8 time, which you get if you take one eighth note out of a 4/4 bar. It also simply shows that I’m a musician.

You can usually recognize a composer if you’ve heard a lot of their music.

I don’t understand a damn thing.
(I can curse since I know that you are an adult.)

Yes, but how?

Wagner’s music is pretty recognizable because he doesn’t often adhere to the simple 7-note scale, using notes outside of the scale.

It’s getting late. I think soon I’ll be ready for beddy.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and rainy with a predicted high of 95 with possible rain/tstorm/apocalypse late this afternoon into the evenin’. We have had lots of rain and a couple tstorms move through in the past couple of hours. The storms did not wake me up. Then again, a herd of elephants could be practicin’ Stomp in the livin’ room and that would not wake me up.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alack and alas, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Blurf. Grumble. :scratches baseball parts:

Blurf.
Today is a holiday here in Quebec and not in the rest of Canada. I don’t plan to do much celebrating. Most of the stores are closed, and I think I’ll just stay home for the most part and try to get some work done.

Though I think the local coffee places are open, so I hope to head out and get some coffee.

:stuck_out_tongue:SWAMPY. it is Wednesday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Another horrible night, and even Mel didn’t help me. My itchies would NOT calm down and let me sleep. First, I got up and slathered on some cortisone cream. It helped for about 10 seconds. Finally, when I couldn’t take it any more, I took a shower and washed off all the calamine and cortisone, then reapplied the cortisone. Exhaustion finally took me about midnight. Naturally, the alarm was most unwelcome at 5. And any attempts to sleep after **FCD **was gone were thwarted by 2/3 of our resident hairbags.

I feel like death warmed over, left to cool and dry out on the counter, then warmed over again. ugh

But it’s cool-ish this morning after a heckuva t-storm last night, so I’ve opened the house for a bit. The temp’s hovering around 70° - good enough for a short spurt of fresh air. I’ve got the sheets in the washer - between the leakage from my rash and the dog’s preference for licking herself on the bed, they needed to be washed. And bleached.

Today is clean the bathrooms day and make a big cuke salad day (5 cukes, not one big cuke, for the salad.) I may even venture out to pick up sticks in the yard before it gets too gawd-awful hot, tho it’s just supposed to be mid-80s today. We shall see.

Happy Wednesday, such as it is. <yawn>

Hey - did it occur to you that he’s got a time machine and he’s posting from the future??

Me, neither. We all know he’s just a forgetful old fart.
