Was Italy that good or Spain losing its edge as the world’s best team? Were the Barcelona-Real Madrid debacles in the Champions League a sign of Spain’s near-term future? And is Brazil back to being one of the world-class side? They had the easier draw and semi-final.
My prediction is Spain wins 2-1. Jordi Alba’s attack capabilities from LB will be the key to victory.
In the 3rd Place game, I see Uruguay beating Italy 2-1 as Italy will be worn from 120 minutes of play on Thursday, only 1 day rest and losing a heartbreaking semi-final in PK’s.
