Confess your obscure and geeky crushes from TV

I like the way you think!
As for my obscure crushes, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, put my down for another ABC World News Now alum, Alison Stewart

Daphne from Scooby Doo (in the live-action movies, it was Velma).

Princess Lana, from Captain N: The Game Master. Hot, and princess of a land made of video games!

Tracy Gold as Carol Seaver on Growing Pains. She was smart and geeky. I thought she was adorable.

Heather Langenkamp as Marie on Just the Ten of Us. She had sisters who were supposed to be hot, and they would dress up to go to dances and parties, but sweet Marie would sit there and study with her thick glasses on. Hawt!

My first crush… ever… was Eugene Tackleberry from Police Academy.

I was about 5.

Domenick Lombardozzi. To me, he is the hawt.

Don’t know why, 'cause he a big, oversized, out-of-shape, clunky-looking guy. Also his character on The Wire, Herc, is played as a dorky, dumb, not very likeable, bumbling and never-learning-from-his-mistakes idiot.

Maybe I just like the idea of a fixer-upper.

If you want to keep the crush, do yourself a favor and don’t watch any “Azerothian Supervillains” animated movies online.

Video game crushes of mine - Valen Shadowbreath from NWN: Hordes of the Underdark, Carth Onasi from Knights of the Old Republic, Atton Rand from KotOR2.

Not compared to Jessica Rabbit.

Who?? You mean Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The cheerleader from Goonies.

Since other folks are doing non-TV crushes, I’ll admit my current one: Ellen Page.

Ever since a one-time appearance on The Single Guy, Cara Buono has had a special place in my, er, heart.

Dianne Kay (Nancy Bradford) was the hottie, IMO. She was also in 1941, playing the sister of Wendy Jo Sperber, from “Bosom Buddies.”

BTW, Sperber died of breast cancer in 2005; Lani O’Grady (Joanie from “Eight”) died of an OD (Vicodin and Prozac) in 2001.

Rory Cochrane aka Speed from CSI: Miami.

Every time I see that show I look straight past brooding latino hunk Eric and home in on the less conventionally good looking but far more (IMHO) fuckable Rory. Yum yum.

Lani O’Grady was Mary, not Joannie.

Right, brain fart here.

Geez, I didn’t know she was Don Grady’s sister. Sez Wikipedia:

Lani O’Grady (October 2, 1954 – September 25, 2001), born Lanita Rose Agrati, was an American actor, and the sister of actor/musician Don Grady.

He was Robbie on “My Three Sons.”

Ares from Xena: Warrior Princess. That God of War was incredibly hot. Did anyone see that episode when he was a farmer for a while?
And he had his shirt off?
All buffed out and you just wanna nom on his pecs and biceps and everything else…om nom nom nom god of war nom!

There was this rerun of some made-for-TV movie, about the Titanic, but it wasn’t the Titanic, it was something like it, but everyone survived and made this underwater society, and they couldn’t leave or communicate with anyone, ‘cause, y’know, they were at the bottom of the ocean an’ all…
An’ there was this girl, she was kinda a minor role, an’ she got murdered after not real long, which was a bummer 'cause I would DEFINITELY like to see more of her mousy brown-haired baby-fat being…

This thread has gone on this long, and I am the first to express dire love for Trixie. Amazing.

Jonathan Brandis (RIP) from SeaQuest
I had an immensely huge crush on this guy back in high school. I wrote a couple letters, ALMOST met him at a parade, ALMOST met him at the soundstage on a trip to FL, ALMOST got to talk to him on the phone. Except the letter I left when I got the private backstage tour from one of the producers, prompted him and a 2 other actors from the show to call my house (back home) - even though I was still in FL at the time. Alas, I lost the tape and I was bawling my eyes out as my mom replayed the message to me on the cell phone. I burst into tears in the middle of MGM (now Hollywood Studios) at Disney.

OMG was I a dork! My family still reminds me of first family trip to FL…

Jennifer O’Dell, playing Veronica Layton in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World. Man, that was one hot character, and I enjoyed the show as well. I heard she designed her leather bikini herself.

Oh, and there was this short-lived TV show called Do Over on the WB (I think … UPN? No, it was the WB, I’m pretty sure) in 2002. The chick who played the main character’s best friend’s mom was pretty hot. Later I realized she was the same chick who played “Stifler’s Mom” in the American Pie movies, and the chick who was Reese Witherspoon’s friend in Legally Blonde, and a bunch of other characters on TV shows like Nip/Tuck – Jennifer Coolidge. But back then, she hadn’t trashed her lips with plastic surgery.

I think your movie is Goliath Awaits.
