ah, i make fiddly lil 1/4 inch links from ordinary 1 mil galvanised wire, and do the winding around a steel dowel. it works out like billions of times cheaper than buying pre-made links…
and she doesnt want the panties to go with it. something about needing to preheat them before wearing them…
Cross-stitch is so much fun. Haven’t done it in over 10 years. I used to get several cross-stitch and latch-hook kits for Christmas and my birthday. Kept me busy year around and ended up giving them as gifts when they were done.
Today I’ve had a nice cool bath and am wearing soft blue velvety trousers for a bit of luxury
The Ringlord. Not necessarily cheap, but a broad selection of materials, tools, and instructions.
I would caution you against making anything large and armorish out of chainmail–it can get pretty heavy, and if you’re not supposed to be lifting anything, that’d be a no-no. However, if you were using aluminum, that might not be a problem.
Plankspanker–if it’s warm enough out that she’d be comfortable wearing just a bikini top, it’s warm enough to not need to pre-heat the bottom part. Also, there’s this thing they call a “lining”… you’ll need to put that into the top and bottom.
I met a lady wearing a full body mail bodystocking; she said it was very comfortable so long as she kept moving. If she stopped, it’d heat up the skin that it was in contact with and she’d get used to the heat; when she moved, it would all shift to a new bunch of skin that *wasn’t used to the heat…
See, I meant to post the url of a picture of the lady, but I figured that wouldn’t be allowed by the mods so I cut that part out, which is why the coding’s screwed up.
