I live in Manchester, as does Nen, who is lilah’s butthead husband and sugar daddy [sub]giggle[/sub]. There are a few other dopers in Connecticut, but I can’t remember who they are or which specific towns they have conquered.
Verily do I reprazent for the CT. I’m in Trumbull, though I don’t know if I can be said to have “conquered” it. If I did, it’s been in a hard-fought, 23-year war of attrition.

I live in Maryland now, but I was born and lived the first 19 years of my life in Higganum, CT. I still consider it home, as my parents and much of my extended family still live there, and our military lifstyle doesn’t lend itself to developing new roots.
Now that we are back on the East Coast for the first time in 15 years, it’s only about a 6 hour drive up, and we try to make it as much as possible.
Hmmm, maybe a Nutmegger Dopefest sometime in the near-to-middlin future?
Super, I live in Coventry. But on the weekends I can be found in Berlin. We just have to have a Connecticutian? dopefest. That would just rock.
Coventry, eh? I just moved out of Coventry. Must say, I can’t speak well of my experience there.

Coventry?! Willimantic?! Sheesh, this is getting creepy…I lived in both of those places. I thought that Tymp and I were the only ones out in East Buttfuck, CT. Well, let’s hit the Bidwell for some wings and rings.
Not Connecticut, but I used to live in Maine, which is fairly close.
But I feel that I must point out that for most people in northern New England it is pronounce “Conn-att-icut.”
isn’t Connecticut just another name for the highway between Boston and New York?

The Bidwell is a bit of a hike for Lux Fiat and pcubed, but is central for the rest of us. Does every one know the Bidwell? Any one have a date in mind?

Born in Branford, lived in Montville, Danbury, Bethel, New Milford and Waterbury. Going home for a visit in October, really looking forward to hitting a few of the old trails (AT in New Milford, Mattatuck in Waterbury, Fort Shantock in Montville.) Don’t quite qualify as a current resident, but just wanted to tip my hat to those that remain.
