Conservatives hold GOP feet to the fire

Fox clearly has a right-wing perspective most of the time. You can still be fair and balanced even though you are right or left-wing. no one is perfectly free of biases.

Oh, you can. But Fox News isn’t. Clearly, undeniably, incontrovertibly, emphatically is not.

And a lunatic far-right perspective the rest of the time.

#1, that’s absolutely meaningless. Some people believed that Ronald Wilson Reagan was the Antichrist.

Pick any major political figure from the past 50 years, and you probably can find somebody who considered that person to be the literal Antichrist.

#2, if anybody said something like that about liberals, it would be considered hate speech in some circles.

Are “liberals” (however you define it) inclined to think there is a literal AntiChrist? You’re making the distinction between literal AntiChrist and person one thinks is really really bad, right?

Did any of the moderators ask questions designed to see if a candidates views were a bit too far to the right? Or if their conservatism is liable to get in the way of their decision making when in office?

Too far to the right? Too conservative? Too virtuous?

How’s that?

Of course I doubt if anyone at Fox believes there’s any such thing as being too conservative, but making sure we don’t put a right-wing extremist into power ought to be a major concern, and so these are the kind of tough questions that need to be asked.
