Yes, but that’s not their point, I believe. The gist of their argument seems to be that right now she’s not in the lead, but if Bachmann didn’t run then all the whackjobs who pledge to vote for her would vote for the next whacko in line, i.e. Sarah. Which would then put her higher in the polls, possibly ahead of the rest of the chucklefuck brigade.

Palin has been on the national stage since McCain stupidly put her on the ticket. Yet she is on even footing with the crazy Bachmann? That does not say much about her does it?

Because the company that took the poll tabulated the numbers twice, once with Trump and Bachmann, and once leaving them out. Palin is in second place after Huckabee in the second poll (I imagine most of Bachmann supporters went to Palin). So the website writer wasn’t really just arbitrarily removing people until Palin was #1, they were just using the info in the poll (and then arbitrarily removing Huckabee so Palin would be #1)
He could be if he was going to run. But he more then the other candidates needs to have started building support and cash early, and he hasn’t made any move to do so. Its getting late enough in the game that since he hasn’t made such a move, he’s probably not going to.
Huckabee, like Palin, loves the money he can get in the private sector. He’s real thin-skinned, which is a characteristic of his Southern Baptist preacher experience. Down here, you don’t question the pastor! Plus he’s building a monstrous house near the beach in Florida (his adopted home state) His real Achillies heel will be several ill-considered paroles he granted while Governor of Arkansas.
