Eh, I can kinda see the justification for pulling Huckabee and Trump out. They’re unlikely to run anyways. Of course Palin probably won’t run either, but then, the people at conservative4palin are probably not ready to come to grips with that.
The GOP primary scene is bizarre in the amount of attention being put on people who are unlikely to even try to run actual campaigns. I guess theres always a little of that, but the amount of “fantasy campaigning” this election is getting really surreal. That article is devoted to gauging the odds of what will happen if a woman who isn’t going to run for President runs against a bunch of other people who aren’t running for President.
There is some old kook in my area that has his car plastered with home-made “Palin 2012” stickers (made from mail-box numbers and letters!). Real classy!
I appreciate it, however. Lets me know to stay really far away from him. If only all crazy people were as considerate.
She would find a way to make a lot of money. She is not interested in governing. She walked off the job in Alaska. President would be even more like work.
I doubt she will run, but going through the motions until the end will get her a lot of attention.
She doesn’t have to give up her job unless she wins the nomination (she doesn’t have to give it up even then, McCain is still in the Senate after all, but its a little hard to picture her running for the Prez and her house seat simulataneously in 2012).
I actually think she will run. She said she would form an exploratory commitee, has been raising money, has been visiting Iowa, and even a failed Presidential run would probably up her profile.
Compare with Huckabee, who so far as I can tell, has spent most of his extra time fund-raising for other people and not any prepping his own campaign.
That she’ll quit halfway through her term and the VP will take over. In order to have a broad appeal as possible they’ll have nominated a gay, crippled, Muslim with a speech impediment and a comb over.
She’s just gunna get herself dug right in there and fix up all these gosh-darned troubles that are troubling the best darned country in the world, doncha know?
You have to take Bachmann out of the polling to put Sarah on top? Now that’s just sad. If I had to choose at gunpoint to support one of the two, it would be Palin. I’d rather pick the crazy opportunist rather than the sheer crazy.
Also, I’d like to note that I believe Governor Palin probably leads the polling. The real question is where does Sarah the ex-Governor fall on the data?
Shot himself in the foot on birther question. Said Obama’s growing up for years in Kenya would give him (Obama) a different perspective on the Mau-Mau rebellion. WTF
Willie Horton redux. Clemency for Maurice Cleammons, convicted killer, after he (Cleammons) “found” Christianity. Guy went out and killed four cops.
Wants you and your children converted to his brand of Christianity at gunpoint if necessary:eek:
That should just about ruin his chances; stranger things have happened.
No, that information is surprisingly scant. They spend most of the “About” page whining about the Media and denying that they are Palin cultists. There is not a single political value or policy initiative mentioned. They do, however, speak in cryptic language about battles with “corrupt bastards” and “sundry ankle biters.”
If you’d spent any time hearing from or reading about Palin supporters, I can’t imagine why you’d imagine that a pro-Palin site had clearly articulated political philosophies.
Actually, you don’t. I don’t know why they said that, because Palin is ahead of Bachmann in that CNN poll.
Of course, they also don’t say that there isn’t a good way of knowing where the Huckabee and Trump voters will go if you take them out of the race, so it’s not really clear that Palin is ahead even then.
Still, it’s a stupid claim coming from a stupid site. I can’t believe I even wasted the 40 seconds I did on this subject.
