Converting a series of jpegs into an mpeg movie?

Is it possible to turn a series of jpeg-type pictures into a movie? Essentially, what I’m doing is really bad stop motion animation. I took a series of pictures with my digital camera and, using ACDSee’s slide show option (set at 30 milliseconds between pictures), made a humorous-to-me micro movie. I would like to be able to make either mpeg or wmv files so that I could annoy my friends with this nonsense. I am by no means Ray Harryhausen and don’t need an expensive program for something I’m liable to get bored with in a few months.

Suggestions?

Yes, but you should use a video editing package like Adobe Premiere, though basic video editing software is sometimes available as shareware. Import the jpegs as stills and set them each for 1 frame, or 1/30th (or 1/24th or 1/15th, whatever) of a second. Then save as MPEG. Easy.

Incidentally, you can e-mail them to me (my hotmail account is in my profile, ask me for the “real” one through e-mail) and I’ll send an MPEG back to you.
