Convulsions after sex?!

After the sax girl and I make sweet, sweet love she…I don’t know… twitches out.

It looks like a convulsion to me. She says it starts right above her pubic area and convulses mainly her abs, though it is sometimes more widespread. She also says that she can’t control it, though I have helped her control her breathing and stop it that way a time or two.

She says that there’s no particular sensation associated with it. I also asked if it only happens when she has an orgasm, but she couldn’t give me any answer there: “I don’t know. I always come when we have sex.” I don’t think it happens when she masturbates, though I haven’t actually done any empirical research on it

Does this happen to any of you other ladies? Does anyone know what this is? Is it just a normal variation like crying or laughing or passing out?

Sounds like an orgasm to me.

erm. I get something much more severe than that, very rarely - I had a thread about it before. Muscle spasms curling me up in a fetal position, usually accompanied by wild sobbing.

I think that she’s just in the spectrum of ‘normal’ reactions to really good sex. Be flattered?

YOU THE MAN, SAX-DUDE!

She said she loved me like a brother. That’s great, cause she’s from Arkansas!

If a woman did that right after we had sex, it would probably shatter my confidence big time. :frowning:

It takes a bit of getting used to, but take it as a compliment. I’ve also had someone break-down in uncontrolable tears after sex, and while the first few times were pretty freaky, she finally convinced me it was just her reaction to thouroughly great sex. Seeing as she married me, I took her at her word.

I tend to sob a bit during a spectacular orgasm, but I’ve not had any sort of twitching issues.

That having been said…

Go You!!! You’re doing something very right!

Hey World Eater, how you doin’?

Mmmm… reminds me of the (to steal another dopers quote, can’t remember who) girl that got away who I’d commit mass genocide for to get back. It would happen as she was having an orgasm though, and only rarely (not the orgasms, the convulsions). She didn’t complain, just said that it was part of the orgasm. Man, I miss that girl.

I agree it sounds like little orgasm aftershocks. I have them also, lasting for several minutes afterwards. They get less & less powerful, and after about two minutes they’re just little tingles all over.

OK! Cool!

I was a bit worried by them. I’ve given girls aftershocks in the past, but nothing this visable. I’ll just have to tell her to enjoy them

She thinks I’m doing something very right too, BTW. She’ll not hear any arguement from me!

Thanks guys and girls!
