Cookies!

Who wants cookies? I made a batch.

YUMMY!

Walnut chocolate chip.

The preferred flavor for 1920s style death rays everywhere!

Oh man do I love cookies. Someone made homemade cookies last week for our fantasy football draft - first homemade cookies in about 6 months.

Anyone who wants to send me a care package full of cookies and other homemade goodies has my permission.

I just made Bob the Builder and Scoop cookies. I iced the Bobs to look like Village People, then I iced blonde hair and make up on the Scoops. Mmm, they are chewy.

mm… blondes… Eh? Wha? Where am I?

Mmmmmm gimmee cookies. My favorite are oatmeal, but anything with chocolate chips are good.

Hold the death ray.

I am alergic to walnuts.

Damn.

Oatmeal ‘n’ raisin is my fave. Could someone bake a batch and e-mail to me ??

Please send a virtual dozen to me and hold all the fat and calories!

Also please feel free to send the death ray so I can shock the hell out of the 17 year old.

Will you make me a special batch with no walnuts?

Err… maybe.

The secret is to keep the dough cold. If you let it get warm and runny (as often happens when you make a double batch) you get flat runny cookies.

Of course flat runnies can’t be served to guests so you have to eat them all yourself.

Dan, you are The Man!

yum!

Cookies for everyone!

Some with nuts, some without, some chocolate, some oatmeal, some with honey, some with butterscotch, some with mints, some with fruity insides…

Yay! Butterscotch!

Yummy.

Some with M&Ms, some with marshmellow fluff, some with sprinkles, some plain.

I just finished off the last of ours - time to make the cookies!

Mmmm! Oatmeal, with candied peel, crystallized ginger, and almonds!

Mmmmm… Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite food group!!

Mmm—chocolate chocolate chunk are my favorite.

I used to make cookies that were a combination of oatmeal and Toll House—with raisins, and pecans, and chocolate chips. Mmmmm…shall I make some, Dan?

I would like to know why people ruin perfectly good cookies by placing things like walnuts in them. I mean, I expect to bite into a soft, warm cookie, that practically melts in your mouth; to have it ruined by hard, unyeilding walnuts just makes me want to hurt people.

With my 1920’s style death ray.
