“French & Saunders” have been a comedy duo for years but have also done solo efforts, Jennifer Saunders most famously as Eddie in Absolutely Fabulous and Dawn French (perhaps most famously) in the TV series The Vicar of Dibley.

Dawn French is in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which is the #1 film in America this week.

Jennifer Saunders is the voice of the Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2, the #2 film in America this week.

French & Saunders finally get to rule America!

I love French and Saunders! and just about anything else the two of them are in. Of course, for me it’s hard to think of Jennifer Saunders w/o thinking of Joanna Lumley as well.

It was cool to see Dawn French in the Harry Potter film.

I caught that show on BBC when I was living in Berlin and thought it was hilarious! I wish they would run it on BBC America, or PBS!

I’m currently turning my new girlfriend onto British humor. I started her out with Are you being served? and we’ve spent the last 3 days watching the first three seasons of Ab Fab on DVD. She loves it, but I don’t think she’s ready for Monty Python yet.

We’re planning on seeing both of the movies you mentioned soon. Thanks for the heads up.

I love their movie spoofs and other sketch stuff, but for some reason, I can’t stand Ab Fab. Bleh. But their version of LOTR had my laughing so hard I ached.
