Well crap. Went to grab a hunk of yummy Corned beef, and found out my trusty Crock-pot wasn’t so trusty anymore. It was definitely on about 4 hours ago, and definitely dead about 30 minutes ago. The details of events between those two data points are lost to the ether, but it was at best pretty warm.
I don’t give a crap about the food safety aspect, with it being brined and all but it’s probably 2.5 hours from being finished, and my acid reflux would not like me eating that kind of food after 11.
So I guess this year I made a lot of sandwich meat.
